website offers information about the AHRB-funded project Reform in the Sturm
und Drang: The Social and Political Writings of J. M. R. Lenz.The project aims to produce an edition of Lenz’s hitherto largely
unpublished writings on military and social reform.
Work
on the project, which is based in the Department of German Studies at the
University of Birmingham, UK, started in November 2002 and is expected to last
three years.The research team is
composed of Professor David Hill (project leader) and Dr Elystan Griffiths.
