I am a Senior Lecturer in the English for International Students Unit at the University of Birmingham where I am mainly involved in teaching English for Academic Purposes to the international students at the University. My particular areas of teaching and research are ESP and academic writing, grammar, and pronunciation. I am on the editorial board of the journal English for Specific Purposes.
